LLANFAIRBRYN Welsh Mountain Pony stud nestles in the beautiful mountain ranges and valleys of Tonimbuk in Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. Founded in 1968 by Anthony and Suellen Deane and now conducted by daughter Katherine (Katie) Turnbull and family the stud currently runs some 25 to 30 ponies.

Our aim and pleasure is to breed true to type ponies full of Welsh character and hardiness, coupled with quality, beauty, super movement and kind temperaments, suitable to be shown, ridden and driven by children and adults.

Our ponies are reared in big hilly paddocks where they can socialise and gallop to develop heart lungs and limbs and our stallions run with their mares and foals.

We trust that the ponies we breed will bring their future owners the same pride and joy they give us.

I am a South Gippsland based photographer with over 20 years of experience, capturing the essence of rural life and natural beauty.

Growing up on a horse and Romney sheep stud, I developed a deep connection to the land, spending much of my life showing horses and sheep. This rural upbringing fostered a love for wide-open spaces and natural light, which now defines my photographic style. Specializing in outdoor landscapes, animals, and farm life, I bring a unique perspective shaped by years spent on large rural farms.
